Our Hillside professionals were treated to an astonishing presentation led by Mr. Abran Maldonado, leading Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) expert, ChatGPT, and OpenAI Ambassador! Mr. Maldonado introduced Hillside Public Schools staff to recent wonders in A.I. that can be utilized to revolutionize instruction within the classroom! Superintendent Glover delivered a motivational, inspiring speech before introducing Abran Maldonado to the stage. Joy, a, 2018 Hillside graduate, returned to her science classroom as a guest speaker. She is in a Master's Program at Walla Walla University after graduating with a bachelor's from Drew University. Joy spoke about the realities of undergraduate and graduate life and her amazing research with chipmunks and octopuses. Mr. Skelton organized the visit. Santa Claus came to town! Milk & Cookies with Santa 2023 is in the books, and it was spectacular! Ola Edwards Community School hosted its Winter White Gala on December 8th, 2023, with 177 students accompanied by their parents! Families were treated to music by DJ Tah, a photo booth by Fee's Photo Bank, snacks, and a prize raffle. Students were able to win bikes, scooters, games, and a Fire 7 Tablet.
